Founded in 1956, Sauk-Dere iss a winery located in the Krimsk district of Krasnodar region. It had been closed in recent years, but it was recently purchased by the owners of Villa Viktoria. It is now under the stewardship of Roman Neborski, former winemaker at Myskhako in Novorossiysk.
Sauk-Dere had been developed on the base of a former limestone quarry and has extensive underground caves for storage. Sauk-Dere accumulated a collection of wines and brandies dating back to 1952. Sauk-Dere was part of the Abrau Durso complex until 1978 and produced some sparkling wines. Some of the old Sauk-Dere wines are still available.
